Wedding Videography on a Budget

Do you want a wedding video, but cannot afford it? If so, this article is for you.

Although some of you would love a wedding video, your budget may not allow it. Well, this is exactly why I am writing this blog post. Stay close =)

I am going to keep it short and sweet. If you have a limited budget for your wedding video, here are some options:

Ask Your Friends to Film the Important Parts of Your Wedding on Their Phones

I would suggest picking one or two friends (ideally with similar phones and settings) to take landscape videos for you. What should they try to include in these videos:

  1. Details, capture details of your wedding;

  2. Some slow motion videos of the bride and groom (no need for super slow motion available on some phones);

  3. Ideally at sunset, you should allow at least 15-20 minutes to film some scenes of you two walking to and from the camera; again, ask your talented friend to pay attention to details such as (slow motion) - blinking eyes, smiling, kissing, holding hands, etc.

Put Everything on a Google Drive & Share it With Me

Now, for the magic to happen, some editing skills & a good video editing program will be needed. You can have a chat with me by getting in touch here or hire someone you know & trust will deliver that cinematic look for your special day.

Why not share this idea with someone you think may consider this. Let me know if you have any other ideas you think I should implement. Don't forget to subscribe to the email list to receive more videography and photography information and ideas.
