Best 7 Free Things To Do in London

Let's talk about those free hidden gems in London. You may be wondering where to find them. You'll find them in plain sight. With so many free things to do in London, you won't want to spend your money on anything else. Let's jump straight into my top 7 places to do in London.

1. If you find yourself in London on a rainy day (which is not uncommon here in Britain), I would highly recommend the three museums located near each other.

- Natural and History Museum

- Science Museum

- Victoria & Albert Museum

South Kensington station, which is on the District, Piccadilly and Circle lines, is the closest Underground station to the three museums mentioned above.

If you are using public transport, before traveling to any of these places in London, be sure to check the TFL website to see if there are any closures or restrictions.

2. One of my favourite places to take photos is 120 Fenchurch Garden. Again, needless to say, it's free to visit. These days the close at 6:30 pm but most likely it will be open longer in the summer. I recommend you check the opening times on Google.

The exact address including postcode is - 120 Fenchurch St London EC3M 5AL

The views from Sky Garden are simply spectacular and if you're in London, you must go see it. If you

are unable to free book a ticket because it's fully booked, just come after 6pm and follow the queue around the building and you'll get up. Don't tell anyone I told you this. The full address for Sky Garden is: 1 SKY GARDEN WALK, London

EC3M 8AF

4. Mudchute - City Farm in Canary Wharf 10-15 minutes walk from the heart of the financial district - Canary Wharf, you will find a city farm - Mudchute. You will find various animals there from llamas, parrots, rabbits, donkeys to sheep, chicken and pigs. The closest transport link to this city farm is Mudchute (DLR station.

5. A stunning view with beautiful pathways is from Greenwich Park. There is a very nice walk from Cutty Sark (DLR) to Greenwich Park. It isn't hard to tell that I love sunsets. Try to go around sunset time if you can. It will be worth it.

6. Crossrail Place Roof Garden in Canary Wharf is my number six. In the midst of the urban jungle, this place is an oasis of freshness. The exact address including postcode is: Crossrail Pl, London E14 5AB Here are some photographs I took at the Rooftop Garden in Canary Wharf.

7. Last but not least is the British Museum. Due to its location in a different area of London, the British Museum is not on the same list with the first three. London Underground stations nearby include Holborn, a five-minute walk from the hotel, and Tottenham Court Road, two minutes away. Goodge Street and Russell Square are also close by. The full address including the postcode for the British museum: Great Russell St, London WC1B 3DG
